This license defines the narrow right to operate the Startorio interface. Access activates the license; it does not transfer the system or its underlying rights.
License activation
This End User License Agreement is between the Startorio service operator and each person who accesses the Startorio website. Loading or using the interface means you accept this license. Do not continue if you reject it. Use of the search service is also subject to the Service Terms and Data Map.
Authorized operation
You may operate the current Startorio interface for your own lawful purposes. That permission is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and may not be assigned or sublicensed. It permits ordinary interaction through a supported browser and nothing more.
Reserved system rights
The interface architecture, brand identifiers, visual language, original code, and documentation remain controlled by the Startorio operator or applicable licensors. No implied license is created by access, compatibility, linking, or silence. External APIs, search services, and their output are governed by their respective owners.
Prohibited operations
- Do not repackage or resell the interface as a competing or embedded product.
- Do not defeat technical restrictions, probe protected systems, or obtain non-public code or data.
- Do not run traffic intended to degrade service, evade rate limits, or burden an external provider.
- Do not inject hostile code, conceal abusive activity, or use Startorio to compromise another system.
- Do not remove legal, ownership, or attribution notices.
This section does not prohibit activity that applicable law expressly allows despite a contractual restriction.
External modules
Startorio calls a Datamuse endpoint for word suggestions and opens Queryvello when a search is submitted. Those systems are external modules, not part of the licensed Startorio code. Their operation, output, and licenses remain separate. You are responsible for reviewing any terms that apply when using them.
Version changes
The operator may deploy a new interface version, remove a feature, change a supporting service, or end compatibility with a device or browser. Startorio is not obligated to supply a prior build, maintenance release, source code, or backward compatibility.
Deactivation
The license terminates when you stop using Startorio, when the service is withdrawn, or when you breach a condition and the breach is not capable of remedy or remains unremedied. After termination, no further use of protected Startorio material is authorized. Ownership, external-module, disclaimer, liability, and interpretation provisions survive.
Warranty state
Startorio is supplied without a promise that it will be continuous, secure, compatible, accurate, or suitable for a particular task. To the broadest extent applicable law permits, the interface is provided “as is” and “as available,” and implied warranties are disclaimed. Statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded remain in force.
Liability boundary
Where the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost information, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damage connected with the licensed interface or an external module. Any limitation applies only to the maximum lawful extent and does not exclude non-excludable responsibility.
Interpretation and contact
This license operates under applicable law without displacing mandatory rights. An invalid term is narrowed or removed only as necessary; the balance remains effective. Non-enforcement on one occasion is not a permanent waiver. Startorio may assign this license as part of a lawful service transfer, while you may not assign it without consent.
